The techs feel that they can better assist me on this format, so I hope they are listening.
I am a new DSL subscriber and have had this modem for about 70 days, the problem is that I am having to do a power cycle on it almost everyday to reestablish connection. My question is how can I get it replaced?

Where did you get it?? If from an ISP, call them. If you bought it with a
warranty, take it back or send in for repair.

yes, it came from an "ISP", but did you ever try to call customer service? I have yet to talk to a real person. I'm seriously thinking about stopping one of their service trucks and asking them for a number. What else is there to do?

I don't know who your ISP is, but if you can't get to talk to a
real person when you call them, I would seriously consider
switching ISPs. You're getting very poor service.

Would you believe it if I told you that you can actually ask one of the service people for a number and he would give you one. I actually got to talk to a real person and was able to arrange and exchange. I'm still amazed.
