I can't start Windows Explorer via RUNAS from the command window. After I
enter password, the "attempting to start..." message appears for several
seconds, then back to the DOS prompt. Other programs start OK. There's
nothing in the Event Log. Same behavior on Windows XP Pro and Server 2003.
Any help appreciated.

that's the way it is, by design. you can't fire up a second copy of
explorer w/ different credentials. you can open a cmd.exe window tho, and
from there you can do most file manipulations, from the command line.
