Somebody has changed by screen to a 90degree angle and I cannot change it
back. Everything, task bar, icons etc are all at this angle. Could somebody
help please? Thanks

Try...
Right-click on an unused (no icons) area of your desktop.
Select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.
Select the "Settings" tab. (or something similar to).
Select the "Advanced" button towards the bottom of the "settings" window.

Look around for something to do with "Rotate".
You may have to select an additional tab depending on the graphics card you
are using.

Once you rotate the screen back to what you want, remember to "Save" the
changes and okay your way out of all the open windows.

You might have to put your desktop icons back where you had them.

Hi

Try this:

Right click the Desktop, select Properties>Settings>Advanced. See if there
is a setting in there to rotate the screen back to normal. If you have
Nvidia software installed try clicking on the tab for your graphics card and
have a look for NVRotate on the left hand side.

If you do have an Nvidia card there may be an icon in the Notification Area.
If so, right click on it, select Rotation Settings and then set it to 0
degrees.

If the graphics card is of an Intel chip set, try pressing Ctrl + Alt + up key.

Hey Don Juan ,
I have the magic answer for your easy question. i have a 22"
flatscreen that rotates. All you do is ctrl + Alt + down arrow pad. The
other arrows to the right left and UP rotate your screen arround. Hope
this helps.

I have the opposite problem. I want to rotate my new rotatable screen and I
cannot. I have indicated the 90 degree angle in the nVidia properties, given
it a "hot key" as instructed, but nothing happens. Do I have to do something
else? I am assuming that any of the XP programs would rotate without my
doing anything to them???
