Post subject: Users need printer and driver install rights

The users are in a domain environment during the day, but need to be able to add their own home printer to XP so that they can print when home.

They get errors saying that they don't have the proper permissions to do this.

We can't make them local admins of the laptops to solve this and I am looking for another way.

Can't you simply have them log on under a different user account when they are at home? (an account with local administrator rights on the local machine that is NOT also a user on the domain at work)

Another option would be to use the RunAs command.
