Post subject: my DRC PC106E Sony mini dv camcorder and the Picture Package
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>video (more info?)

Please help!
Both the camcorder and the software are new, so I tried out the "Digital
Editing Programming" feature according to the instructions manual to edit my
images via my VCR but only got as far as the 2nd step ( which says "Put the
VCR into recording pause mode: Rewind the tape and 5 numbers for each in and
out should appear") I cannot see any numbers appearing on screen in order for
the digital editing programming to work on my VCR which is a Daewoo. I hope
somebody out there knows what Im talking about.
Connecting the camcorder to this laptop works out fine, the testing showed
the video but when I opened up Picture Pckage software, there was no sign of
the images saved from the tape of my camcorder that I wanted to transfer onto
the laptop, despite the camcorder havin been tested and recognised by Windows
XP. I desperately need ur help. Please reply soon and I will most grateful!
