Post subject: stuck start menu item (nothing to do w/ manuf. link)

On my start menu (xp home) I put a link (upper left part of start menu) to another drive on my comp, drive Z: but now I want to remove it. I've tried right clicking, then clicking "remove from list" but nothing happens, and there is no "unpin" option when I right click the Z: drive. Everything else on the left side of my start menu gets removed when I try to. Can anyone explain this and help me remove this annoying link on my start menu?? I've been looking thru forums all over the internet, but most deal with the manuf. lnk. Thanks.

Hi

Try using System Restore to restore Windows XP back before this problem
happens to you.

Hope this helps you.
