I have Vista (I hate Vista) I do not see a button at the top that says sign at the top. I cannot unclick it as I do not see it. I have never seen this must have digital id before today. I send emails to these people everday. Now it tells me I cannot send them without the digital ID. Can you help me, please.? On the top of your e-mail toward the right is the word HELP. Below that, on the blue bar are 3 icons. The second from the right is ENCRYPT, the third from the right is DIGITALLY SIGN. If either or both of those icons are enclosed by a block "box" around them, they have been selected. Click on the icon(s) that has the black line surrounding it to remove the black line and you should be OK. The use of digital signing or encryption will cause the symptom you describe. Bob S. There is also an option to digitally sign in your messge tools. On the toolbar directly above the toolbar.
