May be we sould use correct terms.
In dual xeon setup board will contain 2 dual core xeons.
Each socket is one processor for the XP pro.
each processor contains 2 cores, so we have 2 socket*2 cores=4 cores.
If we enable HT, each core will have 2 logical 'cpu', so 4 cores * 2 = 8 'cpu'
so XP pro's task manager wil show 8 'cpu' .
