Post subject: AVI won't play
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>video (more info?)

I tried to open avi files that I used to watch, but now I can't I have all
codecs according to G-Spot. I used to watch that movies 2 or 3 days ago
normaly. The files open in BSPlayer & Windows Media Player show only black
window & time of movie.(it wont play when I press PLAY button-nothing
happens) The same files open & play normally in VirtualDub & WinDVD. I think
something is changed in registry. (I would revert registry but I installed
some new programs & I don't wanna install them again, and backup was a long
time ago) Somebody help.
thanks
