Post subject: Blank Screen after boot-up
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>help_and_support (more info?)

I am not sure if this is an XP issue or not but maybe someone can help. I
recently rebuilt a PC installing a new hard drive, motherboard, memory and XP
Pro. The system was working fine for a couple of weeks until today. When I
boot up I can view the boot-up process all the way until right after the XP
screen with the blue progress lights and then nothing but a blank screen. I
can get into the BIOS but don't know what to look for. I get a message to
check the signal cable which I've done. I also tried another monitor to be
sure that the monitor wasn't bad with the same results. Can anybody HELP ME ??
