Whenever I attempt to browse to a location windows explorer stops responding.
I can stop the process after numerous trys. I read a long posting that
talked about deleting reg keys etc, and that a lot of people have reported
the issue. Is there another, simpler, resolution to this issue?
I really don't want to go around hacking the registry if I can avoid it
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I might consider starting at

Check of spywares first with:

AD Aware SE 1.05
Spybot: Search and Destroy 1.3

Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1 (careful, it is Beta software)

Then, check for viruses.

If still no solution, try the first reply!
