I'm trying to figure out a way to change the size of the icons on my
desktop--but not in the rest of my computer.

Currently I'm using Display Properties > Apperiance > Advanced > Icon

But this changes it for the entire computer...not just the desktop. Any way
around this?

Thanks

Sure is...

Do exactly as you have been, except instead of choosing ADVANCED, choose
EFFECTS
Put a check mark next to USE LARGE ICONS. This makes the desktop icons
larger, and leaves the folder icons alone...

Sorry about that. I have XP Pro as well, and it only changed my Desktop
icons (so it appeared). Strange...

No. The desktop is just a specific 'My Computer' window and the icon
size applies to all such windows
