Post subject: ERROR: Prop Res DLL not loaded
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>print_fax (more info?)

I started getting this error message a week or so ago.

I select a picture to print; Photo Printing Wizard opens; I click "Printing
Preferences" to change the print quality . . . and a tiny box opens giving
me: "ERROR: Prop Res DLL not loaded."

I have no clue what that means. I have never had this problem before.

I went to Lexmark's website and downloaded the printer's drivers and patches
again --
just in case I did something dumb by accident. I restarted the computer; and
it was working fine. Now, days later, the same error message is coming up
again.

The printer is Lexmark X1185 (PrinTrio). My OS is Windows XP SP3
