There is a new error on my machine that I can't figure out. It is "No language support detected" which pops up when I reboot. I run Windows XP. How do I resolve it?

Thanks.

What programs are you running at startup? Check the startups using
the configuration editor.

Start -> Run -> "msconfig.exe" (without quotes) and press enter.
Click on the startup tab and determine which programs are running on
startup. Are you running a program or process that requires
additional language support at startup?

I couldn't see anything running that wasn't running before. No new programs installed, etc. This is why it is confusing to me.

OK. Go into Control Panel and open "Regional and Language Options".
Make sure your correct language (example: US English or UK English) is
selected and the regional options are correct. (where you are
located, etc.)

Hi again.

I have double checked, and everything is correct. I didn't have to change a thing.

This is what bugs me...I can't find the source of the error.

Thanks for your suggestion, tho.

My next suggestion is to scan your computer for spyware, malware, or
the presence of a virus. Hopefully you're running a good AV program
that's up to date....

Run a program such as Ad-Aware SE, or Spy Bot Search and Destroy to
see if there are any "pests" on your machine. Be sure to also
download the latest signature files for these programs before you run
them. And, run both of them.

Ad-Aware SE = http://www.lavasoft.de/

Spy Bot =

Good luck.
