I apologize if this has been asked hundreds of times before, but I can't seem
to find the answer.

I would like to determine what the IP addresses are for the computers I have
in the house. I feel I've got good security, but I just want to make sure.

Thank you.

Hello Greg:

Googling is always the first/best provider of this kind of information.

e.g. "What's my IP address"

<http://www.google.com/search?q=what%27s+my+ip+address>

If all your systems see the Internet:

<http://whatismyipaddress.com/>

Or:

start > Run... > cmd > ipconfig /all

I know this may seem harsh Greg, but if you can't do the above I believe
your systems aren't as secure as you believe they are.

However, all that can be corrected with some self paced studying.

Best wishes to you.

Pete

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're looking for, but there is
a very handy free utility called IP2 that will report the IPs on both
sides of your router to you. In other words, both the LAN and WAN IPs.
It can be set to run automatically or just when you call it. It'll also
send them to the copy for you if you want to paste them somewhere. It
works very well. See http://keir.net by Robin Keir for download. It's a
safe site; no probes, cookies, etc. when I've been there at least.

HTH,

Twayne
