Post subject: Folder View Customize
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>customize (more info?)

Hi

I have 2 Problems:

1st Problem: I have 1 picture in a folder and I have about 500 folders. I
wanted to customise the main folder as a whole to show all pictures as a
thumbnail version on each folder. In other words when you view the folder
before you go into it the Picture must take up (the view) the entire folder
from one corner to the next & not just a quarter of the folder. So I could do
this individually by right clicking on each folder, properties, customize,
choose picture & then the picture would display. I didnt want to perform this
action for each folder individually but wanted to select the main folder and
maybe apply this thumbnail version to all it's sub folders so that the
picture would display as a thumbnail on each folder.

the 2nd problem comes in is that now i have managed to set all the folders to
do exactly the opposite of what I was trying to do above. I cannot even
customise the view for one folder now because it defaults back instantly.
This is very frustrating and if anyone can shed light on each problem for me
I would be most appreciative

Thanks

Ray
