Windows installer started each time I re-booted my machine and tried to
re-install OmniPage Pro 14. Thinking the problem was corrupt OmniPage files,
I deleted the program and removed all references to it from the registry.
When I tried to re-install the program, before the installation begins, I
get a Windows INstaller error message telling me that "the configuration data
for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel."
I have no support personnel and ScanSoft does not seem to be familiar with
this kind of problem. I am concerned I may have removed a registry key which
is necessary to start re-installing this specific program. I have been able
to install other programs, so the problem seems to be related solely to
OmniPage Pro 14.
Any ideas?
