(Msg. 1) Posted: Tue Oct 14, 2008 4:36 am Post subject: Internet Explorer 'Freezes' and some sites jitter Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>perform_maintain (more info?)

Running Windows XP (2003) If I open Explorer and attempt to click my favorites, browser screen may jitter up and down irradically. Right clicking on the task bar at the bottom for Explorer will make the jittering stop temporarily. May start again, may not - unpredictable. If I open a web site and especially a link within a browser window, closing out the link will result in the browser window freezing and requireing either ctrl-alt-delete to have task manager attempt to force the close or in some cases closing all browser windows by closing one embedded link. Other times the browser freeze will force the need to reboot my PC. I just have to start windows internet explorer and it will get going good then freeze up, or when I move to yahoo or check mail in windows live, what is the problem with this?
