When I click on a link in Outlook Express, the Internet Explorer window opens
in a minimized mode. In all other situations, the IE window is maximized. How
do I fix this problem?

Try maximising the window, then close it down.

IE normally remembers the state of the previous windows when closed.

Then try either a different link or the same one to see if they are
maximised.

Unfortunately, that didn't work. Any other suggestions?

Try this.

Close all instances of Internet Explorer.

Paste the following line into Start | Run and click OK...

javascript:window.open(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight)

Then use your cursor (not the maximize button) to drag each window to full
screen and left click the Close [X] while holding down the Ctrl key.
