These are logon scripts, not regular files, so there should be no
reason to unlock them.
One thing that I have noticed is that if I move the students home
directory to another server, modify the logon script to point to the
new location, it works correctly. Then if I change the logon script
back to the original server location they can now get their home
directory without issue.
Bizzare!
I was thinking that this is a DNS issue. But I can go to any other XP
Pro PC in the same school or to a different one, and get the home
directory all the time.
