Can't seem to get this resolved...

We had started a download/update for our AT&T Yahoo browser software. The
system froze during the process. We contacted their support. Ended up doing
a system restore. The computer has operated normally since then w. the
exception of the sound...there is none! Of course, their CS insists that it
wasn't due to the problems with the attempted softaware upgrade, but it seems
just a little too coincidental that sound disappeared immediately after this
problem.

We've gone through and checked the drivers as well as the actual physical
speaker connections...all appear to be operating normally.

Any thoughts on what else to check/do???

Thanks!

See you're earlier post. No need to post twice in 11 minutes.
