Post subject: Memory message for Internet Explorer

Here's my problem, I did a clean re-install of WIN98 (I know, It's time to buy a new PC..lol). WIN98 was properly installed, now when I try to launch Internet Explorer I get the following message; "There is not enough memory to continue. Close down one or more applications and try again", when I try to launch Outlook Express I get, "Could not start because MSOE.dll could not be loaded.

I have 256mb of RAM, which is being recognized by my system. Would anyone know why I would be getting this message?

Most of my drivers have been installed, the only thing that seems to be missing in "Device Manager" is an exclamation mark next to: "Advanced Power Mngmt Support". I have a CD for my Motherboard (ASUS) but there are no drivers on it, it only has some added features. The rest of the Motherboard seems to have been recognized in the device manager.

Thanks in advance
