Sorry to be so long in getting back. I Don't know how to disable the mouse
pad and the new mouse didn't come with any software. I used it for some time
before it went bad with no problem. However I have a more serious problem
now. The laptop doesn't seem to recognize that I am using the a/c adapter.
I keep getting a critical battery message and then I hear a small POP and it
shuts down after only a few minutes. It's kind of old and I can't really
afford a new one right now but I don't want to spend a lot of money at the
repair shop if it's something as simple as the A/C adaptor is bad. Any
suggestions? Thanks, Rosalie
