I created a folder in outlook and did not make a shortcut to outlook. Where
does outlook store the folders, by default (path) I want to delete this
folder.

Outlook or Outlook Express? They are very different things.

For Outlook Express, go to Tools, Options, Maintenance, and click on Store
Folder. Copy the path and paste it into explorer, and you'll be there.

In Outlook, it's relative to your user account. Open Outlook, right click
on the parent folder, and choose Properties, then Advanced. the filename
will be displayed, with full path. Subfolders are not physically separate
from the main .PST file.
