Problem with WIN XP/98SE network

I have set up a home network using a crossover cable and the XP ICS Wizard. The XP machine is being used as the server with the 98SE as the client.

Everything works perfectly except for the internet. the 98 machine can't access the net.

I have checked the firewall and the network is properly in the trusted zone but to make sure i tried with the firewall dissabled and no change.

Anyone got any ideas?

if it helps the xp is pro build 2600 with sp1

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your network would is to be considered as peer to peer and NOT Client - server. Did you enable ICS on the one with the internet connection?
