Post subject: Problems with Profiles
have several profiles set up and only myself with admin rights but I am having 2 problems I hope someone can help me with.
1. On my admin profile I am unable to recognise my MP3 player and the systems just beeps at me when I plug it in and it does not show on my computer (or flicks in there for a moment and goes away) so I am unable to copy files etc BUT if I go and try to use it on one of the non admin profiles the system recognises it and will allow me to put files on it
2. I have loaded a Sims game using my profile and although it recognises it on the non admin profiles when we put in the disk and try to run it it gives me a message saying that there is no enough free memory to run it. If I run it on my admin profile it plays with no problem.
I want to keep using profiles to keep my stuff private and away from the other users (the kids!) but at the moment it is not working.
