My taskbar has suddenly doubled in height and I am unable to resize it
to get it back to normal size. What is going on?

Hi, Sharon, Try dragging the double arrow to the right and slightly down. I clicked on the Quick Launch Tool bar and when that is selected the task bar doubles in height. When it is unchecked the task bar goes back to normal height. >> Stay informed about: Resizing the taskbar
