Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>help_and_support (more info?)

I had software from Webroot installed on my computer called SpySweeper. It
became corrupted and I was told to reinstall it. I've uninstalled the
corrupted programs, but when I try to reinstall it I get the message above.
I've been going back and forth with Webroot but basically they keep telling
me to run a clean-up program and reinstall. I started to wonder if it's not
a problem with SpySweeper but with something else. HELP!!
