AMD64 4800x2[list]
WinXP Pro SP2
Gigabyte 7600GTx2
2GB RAM
A8N-32 SLI Mobo

I recently upgraded from Nvidia 6600 GT. Why is it that enabling the SLI mode slows the computer down significantly both in eyeball and pcpitstop tests. I am getting faster results both in games and general use with the SLI disabled. As far as I know I have the latest drivers (84.20).
I would be grateful for any tips.

Nick
