New installation of XP Pro. When booting the pc the screen will go blank and
show nothing, but I can boot into the safe mode and see everything just fine.
Any suggestions?

Video card problems? Safe Mode uses standard VGA video drivers so that is
why you can see the desktop. Check the compatibility of the video card with
XP Pro.
