After upgrading to Service Pack 2 my "Accessories" items have disappeared. I
no longer have access to games, the calculator, fax options, and other minor
accessories that are a standard feature on my computer. When I try to
correct the problem I am being asked for a Service Pack 2 disc. Service pack
2 did not come with my computer, therefore I do not have this disc. Is there
anyway to bypass this or another way to correct this problem?

Hi Niki,

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=049c9dbe-3b8e...30-8245

That is the link to the Service Pack 2 for IT Professionals, but anyone
can download and use. This is what I had installed for Service Pack 2. This
has everything. You might want to download and reinstall Service Pack 2 on
top of the existing operating system.

If you ever have to reformat and reinstall, make sure that you make a
Backup of the Service Pack, perhaps in a different partition. I always
download to My Briefcase, makes it easier to find and to install, just click
on it. No need to remove it from the Briefcase Folder.

Niki,

When you're prompted for the XP CD, mention the following path, which
contains the source files.

C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles

Alternately:

Restore missing shorcuts to the Accessories group:
