You should NOT upgrade but when you inserted the XP CD it gave you a choice
of a clean install and that is the one you wanted. You'll need to insert
the XP CD
and start anew with a clean install so it will format the harddrive and delete
Win98, too late for a dual boot. You'll need to reinstall all new drivers
and all your programs. Set your BIOS to boot from the CD-Rom drive, probably
"D" Drive:
Also, while installing XP select NTFS file system, not FAT32, it will ask you.
