System events not recording

Did a major hardware upgrade that had a few glitches that have all been
resolved. PC running well with none of the dreaded stop errors.

I relied on system events in event viewer to help fix the issues. I didnot
touch any of the event viewer settings themselves but they seem to have
stopped recording. All the parts of the event viewer are working but system.

Can someone help please? Thanks.
