Post subject: Toshiba Satellite not working with New USB external Hard Dri
Hi,
Im hoping someone can help. I bought a new external HD for my Toshiba Satellite Laptop and it doesnt seem to work. The device manager recognizes it and states its functioning. The detect and auto install says device is ready and working. The only problem i have is that it doesnt give me a Folder icon to use its storage. I cant find it anywhere. Ive tried d:\ , e, f, g.....etc....hoping to find it in folders search bar. ive tried placing a jumper and making it slave. Ive tried right clicking in device manager to see if i can send a shortcut to desktop and that option isnt there. Any ideas? Im done with my trouble shoointg and i cant figure it out.
thanks in advance.
