Post subject: USB Problem - Device not seen
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>hardware (more info?)

We have a camera connected with USB1.1 and its own driver connected to a XP
PC and works fine most of the time. But sometimes, when we reset or
unplug/plug the device back to the PC, XP does not detect anything and hence
the device (and connection) is lost. A reboot or "Scan for hardware
changes.." solves the problem. Ofcourse, we don't like the reboot or
manually forcing a scan. Any ideas ???

Thanks !
