I put a new USB PCI card so as to have USB 2.0 on my system. It is
recognized as a SSA Controller and cannot find the drivers for unit.
Any idea what I should do?? Thanks.

Windows has built-in drivers for many of these types of core devices. If
yours didn't load automatically

Oops...sorry...

As I was saying, if yours didn't load automatically, then Windows probably
couldn't find compatible drivers for it.

In that case, it should have come with an installation CD or floppy with the
drivers on it. If not, you should be able to find the drivers at the
manufacturer's website.

couple of choices come to mind....
run the add hardware wizzard and find your device in the drop down list then
plop in your CD with the drivers...it did come with one???...and point the
wizard to the drivers.
or
under device manager/hardware delete the item and reboot.See if it will be
detected correctly this time.
