Universal Remote Control software for Windows XP????

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is such a beast? I have
found a TON of these for windows Pocket PC but none for Windows XP. In
the related topic, anyway to run a Windows Pocket PC software on
Windows XP without using the Pocket PC's SDK's emulator?

Thanks. But I need something that runs on my PC as I am doing a
prototype on it (using PowerPoint) - basically, I need to use my PC
(windows XP machine) as a remote.
