When I open Windows Explorer I would like to see the "View" default to
"Lists". Is there an easy way to set them all to a certain view without
manually changing each folder? And have the view stay that way until I
manually change it again. Thanks.

Open Windows Explorer, Tools/Folder Options/view. You
should be able to setup one folder the way you want it and
the reset all folders to the same view.

To make all folder views the same

1.. Open a folder and select a folder view.
For help with selecting a folder view, see Change how you
view items in a folder.

2.. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
3.. On the View tab, click Apply to All Folders.
Note

a.. To reset all folders to the settings that were in
effect when Windows XP was installed, click Reset All
Folders.

Hi, Theo. Try this: Get your folder to look the way you want your other
folders. Then in Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > View >
Apply to All Folders. Say Yes to the popup.

Hi Theo,

In Windows Explorer, set the View to your selection (List, for example),
then go to Tools>Folder Options>View tab and click on the Apply to All
Folders button.

Hi

Open Windows Explorer and enable View>List. Then go to Tools>Folder
Options>View and click on 'Apply to All Folders'. Restart Windows Explorer.
