Hello,

I've been having problems with WMI since installing SP2
and some 0of my applications (including TextPad?) have
stopped working. I'm unable to install most software
from CDs as the run and autoplay commands seem to be
locked down somehow. Ideally I'd just like to go back to
SP1, but don't know how and a bunch of my dll files are
now possibly corrupt (including kernel32.dll which is
causing wmiprvse.exe errors to pop up every few
minutes). Just to make my life perfect, I was one of the
muppets on automatic updates who just clicked OK and
didn't do a backup so I've no restore point.
I'm not very technically aware, but I would really
appreciate any advice.

Thanks for your help,
Kelly
