Post subject: Windows ME restore troubles

I had to use my HP restore disks to do a majore restore. Now when I try to rework my way through Windows ME for the "first" time, and I come the the Licence Agreement page, the blue pane to the left of the screen is too wide and obscures the radio button where I can accept the license agreeemnt.

Can anyone help?

Sorry, this message should've be posted to a ME newsgroup, not a XP
newsgroup. Please accept our apologies for this mistake.

No problem, Steve. Just wondering if the same fix applies?

The Yes and No Buttons Are Missing from the End User License Agreement

Thanks Kelly, and sorry for posting in the wrong place. That reads exactly like my situation. Unfortunately, I can't sign on to any programs whatsoever, because I did a major restore and I need to get past the page I'm stuck on in order to get to IE to adjust the setting as described.

Windows installer - I seem to have a problem with Windows Installer. Hp directed me to http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/wininstaller.vbs which apparently repairsit, but my McAfee antivirus stopped it advising me that it could be malicious. What do I do? ..
