On my computer: When I am at a website that needs a username and password, a
windows window will pop up asking me if I would like windows to remember the
password. There is also an option to "Don't ask me this again" (or something
like that). I think she "checked" that box a while back, and now the window
asking to remember the password does not appear on her computer.

(This is in IE7 but it may be the same in previous versions). Go to
Tools-Internet Options-Content and under Autocomplete click on the Settings
button.
See if that helps....

Hi Gordon,
The settings in the autocomplet tab are normal (same as mine).
