cmedia ac97 audio device code 10 error - i have an asus portable laptop with onboard ac97 audio. sound does not work. it use to work with realtek, before installing new hard drive & xp opperating system. can anyone help? please!

windows audio problem. - Using SageTV as PVR software. Worked fine on the original (OEM) installation form Dell. I had to reload the OS and using the updated drivers from dells website I have had this problem with the audio subsytem. It crops up seemenly randomly, after pausing....
