My computer crashed a couple of days ago and now, sometimes when I click on
a link on a website, it just doesn't respond. I often have to reboot the
computer.

My computer was fine a few days ago. At the time I lost all my Favorites and
my desktop items. I tried system restore, but it wasn't available.

I've spent the last couple of days trying to fix it myself, but I have no
idea.

I have Windows XP, 320 RAM, Pentium 3, and DSL. I have a 10 GB Hard Drive,
which despite my reducing the space on it, it keeps loading up, and a 160 GB
external drive. I save nearly everything now to the external drive.

Thank in advance.

- Brad
