WiinXP Home SP3.

My friend has a laptop, but preferred her old desktop monitor and keyboard,
so we took advantage of the Fn/F8 feature to use the latter. It works fine.

Now she has a situation where she has a set of DVDs that is a training
course for a software application, and it is beneficial to run the
application simultaneously with the course. She could use a single screen
and switch back and forth using Alt/Tab, but this is awkward.

Is there a way that the can run the training course using the monitor, and
at the same time run the application using the laptop screen?
