I am setting up an entire accounting system for a growing company and I don't have time to research. I thought I could get a quick answer from someone who might know. If you don't have the answer, don't waste my time with useless info.

Click Help then About. I'm rather worried that you don't know how to click on help then about yet you claim "I am setting up an entire accounting system for a growing company".

I put the numbers in and make decisions based on the output. I have neither the time nor the drive to learn every little nuance about every product Bill Gates releases.

And don't be worried...I have a real degree (accounting) that requires critical thinking skills and not some dime-a-dozen CIS "thingee" and I don't care what school it was given by.

Help > About is how to find the version of practically every Windows application there is, not a nuance specific to Microsoft Excel.

What is this "dime-a-dozen CIS "thingee"" you speak of? Also, I have a fake degree.

"My car stopped running, what do I do??"

You need gas.

"Look, I have a big important job and I'm late for it. I don't have time for a lesson in mechanics!"

Go to a filling station and put more gas in your car.

"Don't bother me with this this dime-a-dozen mechanical engineering crap! Just turn a wrench and fix my car!!!"

Have you considered walking?
