I installed Norton System works and I must have screwed something up because
after reboot, when I clicked on my name, it said loggin in, then within
seconds, says loggin off. All names on start up screen do the same thing. How
can I fix this? I tried F8, all settings, with same result.

Hi fuschia4me,

Perhaps the information provided here will help solve the problem:
http://www.winxptutor.com/wsaremove.htm
Scroll down to the section headed:
"Unable to logon to Windows after removing BlazeFind using a spyware removal
utility?
Logon - Logoff loop, also caused by BlazeFind"

Hi, Guys and Gals,

My name is geneo and I have the same problem on one of my computers as
"fuschia4me" has.
this is In response to Patti MacLeod's suggested fix.
My question is, if I cant get past the logon point, how can I reach the
"start button"?
Also, my cd drive is not working.
