Post subject: Cant login
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>general (more info?)

Ran ad-aware and deleted some dataminers. What else, I'm not sure. Anyway,
I go to boot up. and the login screen doesnt appear---just the welcome screen
without any user accounts. I tried to run userinit.exe, and the file copied,
but being a home user, I don't know what else I need to do, or if even this
was the right thing.

as you have found out to your cost, you should always check what you are
deleting when running these programs. try going through safemode and restore
proir to your problem then running again taking note of what you are deleting

Check the settings in TweakUI > Logon. TweakUI is available from
