missing dvd drive

I restored my missing d and e drive with article 320553 and it worked.
However, I know have 4 drives - d,e,x and z drive. How can I get rid of the
x and z drive?

See if there are repeated devices in device manager. If there are,
uninstall them. (right click my comp->manage) If there are not, you
can go to disk manager from (same window) and remove the assignments
for drives x and z from your devices.
