Post subject: Modem Compatibility for Windows XP Home
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>print_fax (more info?)

Trying to install software for an external modem, model M-300 from Dynex.
Get a caution message that XP is not compatible with this unit/software, do
not install. It is a V.92, 56K Data/Fax Modem. Is this just a typical
warning for something XP doesn't recognize? Has anybody installed this unit?
If so, how did it work/function? Thanks.
