Post subject: using pictures for desktop background
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>windowsxp>customize (more info?)

How can I set any or all pictures I use for desktop background to be
centered. not tiled not stretched. Are there a way to set center as default?

If the picture is saved as a .jpg you should be able to get it centered on the desktop.
